Challenges and how we solved them
Public access to an occupied building
A controlled access zone kept the public clear of the work while the sidewalks and main entrance stayed fully usable.
Working safely on curved corners
A tower lift with a radius platform let crews replace brick, block and lintels as they worked up the walls.
Matching historic brick
New brick was selected to match the existing façade and meet Peoria Historical Society requirements.
RESULT
Façade restored with the main entrance open throughout and historic requirements met.
