About SIS
A supply company that became a federal design-build contractor.
Supplied Industrial Solutions was founded in 2002 in Granite City, Illinois. We began by supplying valves, fittings, hose and process piping to industrial plants and added the tradespeople to install them. Today we self-perform federal construction across the Midwest.

Our story
SIS started as an industrial supply house serving plants such as Anheuser-Busch InBev and American Water. Because we could also provide the tradespeople to install what we supplied, clients began handing us whole projects.
That combination still defines us. We are a self-performing general contractor with mechanical, plumbing, civil, carpentry and masonry crews, backed by our own procurement desk. Since 2012 we have completed work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, GSA, USDA, the National Park Service, the Forest Service, and Army, Navy, Air Force and National Guard installations.
Our work ranges from small repair task orders to about $17 million in pump station upgrades for the Corps' Kansas City Levees Program.
How we work
Every SIS project runs on one rule: communication is key. Agencies, designers, utilities, fabricators and our field crews meet early and often, so problems surface while they are still cheap to fix. It is how we finished the Weldon Spring natural gas conversion four months early and kept a lab HVAC replacement on budget through an asbestos discovery and three footing redesigns.
Service areas
Where we work
From Granite City, SIS serves Metro St. Louis, the Metro East, Kansas City, central Illinois, central Missouri and the Mississippi and Illinois river corridor.
