Primes come to us when a pursuit needs small-business participation that will actually perform. We self-perform mechanical, plumbing, civil, carpentry and masonry work, so the credit you count is backed by our own crews.
We have delivered as prime on Corps civil works up to about $17 million, which means we understand USACE submittals, quality control, EM 385-1-1 safety and schedule reporting from the prime's side.
Why SIS
What primes get from a self-performing partner
Small-business participation only helps a prime if the partner can deliver. Pass-through arrangements create compliance risk under the limitations on subcontracting and leave the prime carrying the work anyway. SIS self-performs mechanical, plumbing, civil, carpentry and masonry scopes with its own crews, so participation credit is backed by real production.
We also bring prime-side experience. Having delivered Corps contracts up to about $17 million as the prime, we understand the submittals, quality control, safety and schedule reporting a prime has to manage, and we report into those systems without being chased.
